The Aviation Safety Action Program Manager Air Carrier Operations is assigned as primary interface between the Certificate Holding District Office (CHDO), and the assigned air carrier, to prevent accidents and incidents by encouraging employees of the air carrier to voluntarily report safety issues Has program responsibility for the program whereby employees of the air carrier can identify and report safety issues to management and FAA for resolution.Assists the CHDO in compilation of data for the Safety Assurance System (SAS).Has program responsibility to assure that assigned organizations meet Federal Aviation Regulations with respect to operations.
