This National Guard position is for a HR ASST (MILITARY), Position Description Number D2014000 and is part of the IL MILPO, National Guard.
About the Position: This is an open continuous announcement. Initial cutoff will be 30 January 2019. Recruitment will continue to fill positions as they become vacant.
As a HR ASST (MILITARY), GS-0203-5/6/7, you will be final reviewer for military transactions that have come up from the lower echelons and requires a comprehensive knowledge of the HR rules, procedures, and technical methods sufficient to perform within the area of assignment and the ability to appYou will work on limited projects which require the review of a service members record, analysis of facts and information within the records, and determine the propriety of the action submitted and that all levels of legal, medical, and administrative review are complete.You must be able to explain the decisions or recommendations to interested parties.These types of actions may impact the career of a member for promotion or separation or qualifications for future incentives, bonuses, educational benefits, etc.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE:Administrative or clerical experience, education, or training which demonstrates the candidate's ability to perform the duties of the position.Experience using computer and automation systems.
