The Nurse(ER) positions are located at Acomita and Zuni, New Mexico, Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service.The incumbent provides registered nursing care in the emergency room/urgent care department by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of all assigned patients with medical surgical, pediatrics, ambulatory or emergency conditions.The position reports to the Supervisory Clinical Nurse.

Additional selection(s) of candidates may be possible within 90 days from the date the certificate of eligibles was issued for this announcement. Federal Employees earn annual leave at a rate (4, 6 or 8 hours per pay period) which is based on the number of years they have served as a Federal employee. IHS may offer newly-appointed Federal employees credit for their directly related previous non-federal experience or active duty uniformed military service. This credited service can be used in determining the rate at which they earn annual leave is earned. Recruitment or relocation incentives may be authorized.
