THIS IS A MINNESOTA NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This position is a Title 5 Excepted Service this position is located in an information management organization. Its purpose is to serve as copier manager for the state National Guard.
A SUPPORT SERVICES ASSISTANT (OA), GS-0303-6 ?establishes, implements, and manages a statewide copier program.Analyzes limitations and capabilities of all type of commercial copiers and service providers in order to recommend the selection and utilization of the most cost effective and efficient copier equipment and related supplies.Implements policies and procedures to ensure compliance with effective copier management practices as prescribed in applicable regulations.Ensures users are trained with respect to copier equipment usage, record keeping, reporting, maintenance, and disposition.Compiles data;maintains a database;maintains records of repair and maintenance;and prepares copier usage reports, including an annual report to National Guard Bureau (NGB).Prepares written presentations of findings, recommendations, forecasts, and justifications for copier purchase, lease, and maintenance.Prepares and processes necessary documents for issuing of purchase orders for lease, purchase, and maintenance of serviced copier equipment.Ensures supplies for all copiers are available in sufficient quantities to support copier usage for the state.Assists in the planning for redistribution of copier equipment, both long and short term.Provides data and make recommendations for redistribution and movement based on the changing needs of users.Coordinates relocations with users, vendors, and transportation sources.Performs other duties as assigned.
