The successful selectee will perform the following duties:
- Providing general instructions and guidelines to subordinates received from the supervisor.
- Inspecting work in progress and completed projects.
- Resolving a majority of minor problems.
- Estimating completion of work and informing the supervisor.
- Must be a US Citizen.

Requirements: All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement and clearly documented in your resume. Must be able to obtain an interim and/or final CONFIDENTIAL security clearance prior to entrance on duty AND must be able to maintain the required level of clearance while employed in the subject position. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. This position requires that the selectee have visual acuity and accurate color discrimination. I am able to distinguish between colors and shades of colors. You may be assigned work to areas where certain potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present. You may be required to take medical examination to assess his or her medical qualification. Work is performed outdoors, often under adverse weather conditions. Work requires frequent bending, stooping, walking, standing, working in cramped positions, and climbing. Work requires lifting and moving heavy items. Work requires exposure to high noise levels. Must be able to wear personal type safety equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift. Must be willing and able to work an uncommon tour of duty (may include weekend, nights, overtime, or holidays). Must be willing and able to work in various weather anomalies This position requires the performance of moderate to arduous physical exertion and/or duties of a hazardous nature. I am able and will to undergo psychological and/or other evaluations to determine suitability to perform the duties of this position. Must be willing and able to undergo a medical suitability exam. I am able and willing to maintain proficiency in the duties of the position and successfully pass annual or random physical evaluations. Must be willing and able to work onboard ships Must be willing and able to accept a temporary promotion/reassignment not to exceed one year.
